Join the guys as we march up Walnut Street and recognize the 50th commemoration of our nation’s Vietnam War veterans and our Medal of Honor Recipient friends.

At the Event: Raffle Items, 50/50, Photo Opps, Books signed by all Medal of Honor Recipients. $20 donation at door.. All tips are donated to MC-LEF.

Every day hundreds of thousands of men and women put their lives on the line to protect our country and preserve our way of life.  Rarely do we get a chance to express our gratitude and to help veterans and their families.  On Tuesday, April 26th, the Irish Pub and The Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation(MC-LEF) will be hosting the 7th Annual Gathering of Heroes fundraiser, a guest bartending event held at the Irish Pub to benefit MC-LEF.

What is MC-LEF…  MC-LEF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that donates all money to scholarships for the children of Marine and law enforcement personnel who were killed on duty or died under extraordinary circumstances while serving our country. 98% of the donations MC-LEF receives are used to fund programs for the children they serve.

Last year… Four Medal of Honor Recipients, local government, law enforcement officials and military men and women came together and were able to raise and also net $50,000. All of the proceeds, including tips made that night, were donated to MC-LEF.

This year… We will be commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War with a tribute to the man who snuck into Vietnam to buy his friends a beer, making it the “Greatest Beer Run Ever”.We will be recreating this with the “Shortest Beer Run Ever” from the Irish Pub on 12th and Walnut to the Irish Pub on 20th and Walnut. Accompanying these men will be three Medal of Honor Recipients as well as many other veterans and active and retired military personnel.
